Gull snacking

Here is a piece from Cath who lives in the Midlands and was on holiday in Sidmouth. Words + pics Cath I thought I would let you know about a very resourceful seagull that I saw at Sidmouth back in July. I was having a cuppa with my husband at a cafe with tables outside when I noticed a seagull watching people on the next table who were preparing to leave. I had to laugh because the minute they had gone, the gull hopped up and had a nice snack from the plates, clearing them up nicely!About ten minutes later another table was left and once again the seagull hopped up and found a tasty bit of seafood on the plate.Several times he was disturbed, after the fourth time he made a noise that was quite clearly frustration, I did laugh at this but finally his patience paid off and he got his food! I took a few photographs so I shall try to e-mail them for you, hope it works!
